I never heard of such a thing, as resting in God,
In all my many years in religion.
Resting in God, is so different. It’s a lifestyle that I never imagined having.
As I sit here and look out at the clouds and trees, and say, “Wow God,
You are peace. Knowing that I don’t have to be ‘doing things‘ or be
busy like religion teaches us to be. I can simply be (knowing that
I’m okay and) loved and accepted by You –
Which makes life so different.”
This is a fallen world and yes, life’s struggles and trials are real,
And they happen to us all.
But to know, as a daughter and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ,
That I am no one’s Savior,
And nothing I do can change a soul,
And that I do not have to be like Jesus
Is just so peaceful.
Resting in God and knowing that, is Peaceful

Oh, amen and amen!! What joy to be resting in Him. And what a rare, yet much needed message: to rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ. . . I know we both owe a debt of gratitude to Aaron Budjen of Living God Ministries, for teaching us how to REST!

Amen to that, sis! I’d like to think we would’ve escaped religion even if we hadn’t discovered Aaron BUT, it’s hard to imagine how it would be right now without access his amazing ministry.
